Day 4 on phase 1 :)

Day 4 on phase 1 of Ideal Protein.
HAPPY FRIDAY:) My alarm goes off & I am up & outta bed. I check first thing to make sure I'm in ketosis, I am & that is motivating. I feel better today, my attitude is different/improved. I'm happy yesterday is behind me & I feel good with the fact that I have done Ideal protein 100%. No one has done it for me, I've had support which is encouraging & helpful.
I mix up a Pink Lemonade Ideal Protein drink in my shaker so all the protein is dissolved, then I add the pink lemonade to my new camelbackhttp://shop.camelbak.com/bottles/water-bottles/everyday-use-outdoor/l/201?gclid=CPjrzPu40LQCFYs7MgodA2sAFA with crushed ice & extra water. Off to the YMCA for a stroll on the treadmill. Today I choose David Guetta as my Pandora station. That's s good upbeat, Friday type of station. I walk at level 3.5 for 30 minutes, enough to get the endorphins rolling for the day. I actually almost have a smile on my face. Not only do I feel good, but it makes me think of all my AWESOME clients that are out there starting their Friday & feeling good too:)
After my walk & 1st Ideal Protein of the day I grab my cooler with a jar of pickles, a tomato a Baggie of salad & Walden Farms dressing. Off to work, the morning flies by & I drink 60oz of water before noon.

Lunch consisted of a premade Strawberry Banana drink, salad & a huge Clausen pickle, I feel full. I'm going to wait to eat the tomato, I really want a Taco Salad with
Salsa for dinner. (Today is my tomato day)

The afternoon flew by, I have successfully consumed 120 oz of water before 5pm. The water really does fill me up.

Dinner was amazing! I love chips & salsa, margaritas & Mexican food, i can't wait!!! Robert is running Riley to practice & in the mean time I call my Aunt Gail & Uncle Tom to see if they want to meet me for dinner. when we get to the restaurant I joke with Tom that Im so hungry that I could lick the dirt off the bottom of his shoe as long as there are no carbs or sugars :) haha. No, I did not have the chips or marg:) I brought along a lemon lime Sparkling ice http://www.sparklingice.com/ & I ordered a Marg glass with ice & lime. Monica looked at me like I had already drank a marg :) I explained & she smiled & carried on. I also ordered fresh pico de gallo to go with my bag of IP salt and vinegar ridges (set 10 aside) La Perico will make ur food the way u want. For dinner I choose a Chicken taco salad, I'm specific when I tell them what I CAN NOT have on my salad. NO cheese, black olives, sour cream or guacamole (all of these things will knock me out of ketosis) I have them ADD extra green peppers, fresh pico de galo, fresh onion & jalapeƱos. Crush the 10 IP SALT & Vinegar ridges on my salad, that will be the crunch I need. Yummy!
Day 4 has been so much better! I feel good, I'm not crabby, hungry & I am happy with my accomplishments so far.
This weekend is gonna be a little challenging. We have 6 basketball games between both boys, Roberts work Christmas party & Sunday I have a date with my husband at the movies. It's not going to be easy, but I'm prepared. Thanks for all of your support!

  1. Good tip on the lemon lime Sparking Ice. Will have to use that one. Margaritas are a weakness for me...moreso than the chips and salsa.
