Day 7: Week 1 finished with the diet!

     I'm proud to say I finished my first week of phase 1. It was a bit of an emotional roller coaster! Hunger, fear, happiness, determination & accomplished. One thing I DID NOT feel this week was guilt! I stuck to plan 100% :)! 
     Day 7 usually starts with a weigh in. This time in plan I'm not going to weigh for awhile. I was so disgusted with the scale last Friday that I don't want it to bring me down or discourage me if I haven't lost as much as I wanted. I do know that my jeans are not cutting me in half anymore. 
     The day started with muffins that Robert made last night & coffee. I could eat them everyday! 
     I had to run some errands over lunch so I stopped at Starbucks for a double shot of espresso & added cinnamon & a premade vanilla drink. I needed to treat myself for all my hard work & I LOVE coffee. 
     After work Lindsay, my coworker & cousin set up wine & yoga at work. She was sweet enough to have a drink for Phase 1 clients & non drinkers. She mixed blue-cran granata with pink grapefruit sparkling ice. So refreshing & tasty! I recommend trying it. During yoga the tire that was around my waist at yoga Sunday had already deflated a little, thank goodness! 
     After yoga I stopped to pick up Robert & we headed to a New Mexican restaurant for a friends birthday party. I had ice water & a chicken fajita salad (no cheese, sour cream or chips) I used salsa as dressing. I would've loved a margarita but not the guilt when I was done. 
     I'm in a good groove & feeling great! Although this program isn't always easy, it's so worth it! Have a great weekend.
